Ascot Place, Langthorpe, Harrogate

The Greenberfield Locks is possibly the best spot for picnicking in Barnoldswick. The peaceful site has picnic tables, a coffee shop where you can purchase ice creams, plus a canal where you can gently watch the boats and barges coming and going.

Regency Place, West Tanfield, Ripon

Surrounded by the beautiful North Yorkshire countryside, Regency Place is situated in the tranquil village of West Tanfield.

Close by is Nosterfield Local Nature Reserve which is generally regarded as North Yorkshire’s premier wetland grassland site for wildlife. The area is a converted quarry and is home to many species of birds. It is a great place for a walk or picnic and it’s the perfect opportunity to spot for a little twitching, but remember to bring your binoculars!

Wellington Park, Sunderland

Wellington Park is our exclusive new development in the charming suburb of northeast Sunderland. With plenty of options around Tyneside and Wearside you are spoiled for choice with scenic picnic locations.

We recommend the Souter Lighthouse - the lighthouse has picnic tables looking out over the sea and it’s sheltered by the walls of the lighthouse grounds. There is also a shop that sells bottles of beer - a surefire way to supplement your picnic.

You can also visit Barnes Park, the largest of the city's urban parks stretching just under two miles in length. It has walking areas, bowling greens and tennis courts - a lot of outdoor fun!
