Berkeley Celebrates Awards Win

Wetherby-based property developer Berkeley DeVeer has picked up the ‘Best Small Development’ title at this year’s West Yorkshire Building Excellence Awards.

The award, judged by the Local Authority Building Control, was presented to the builder for its Rigton Gardens development in Bardsey, and recognised outstanding quality in construction work, particularly in relation to the building control process. Throughout the year, building control surveyors select work of a particularly high standard to nominate for the award before a shortlist is drawn up.

Berkeley DeVeer fought off competition from three other developers to pick up the award at a black tie event held at Unity Works, Westgate, Wakefield.

Speaking of the award win, Daniel Newett, Managing Director at Berkeley DeVeer, commented: “To be recognised for the quality and attention to detail we put into both the creation of our homes and the design of our developments is fantastic. Credit goes to all the hard work everybody on our team puts in, to ensure that Berkeley DeVeer is second to none when it comes to house building in the region.”

Berkeley DeVeer has more than 25 years’ experience in building a diverse range of high-quality homes throughout the UK. Each home is carefully designed, combining traditional features with contemporary home comforts, utilising the latest materials and technologies to create a property that will last.
